95Degrees have a market leading approach in providing heat metering and billing. This includes setting fair heat tariffs, having flexible payment methods, and consumer protection initiatives.

The Heat Trust has developed a Heat Cost Calculator, which is designed to help provide customers living on district or communal heat networks an indication of what it would cost to heat a similar sized property using an individual gas boiler.

To access the Heat Cost Calculator please visit

You will need to have the following information:

  • Your postcode
  • The type of property you live in and the number of bedrooms; and
  • The cost of your annual heat bill

The Heat Cost Calculator will provide two results for the total cost of heating your home, including repair and maintenance: one for a property on a district heating network and the other for a property with an individual gas boiler.
